 She has been in private practice for many years, working with children, teens, and their parents. She has taught students from elementary school to graduate studies. 

She has served on the Board of Directors of the Space Coast Writers' Guild and as a member of the National League of American Pen Women, Cape Canaveral Branch. She is also the Director of Authors for Authors, which sponsors annual book and writer events including,  "Meet the Author's Book Fair" and "Write, Publish, Sell! Writers' Conference." She is an award-winning author. Her novels are considered psychological thriller and focus on contemporary issues, specifically children in peril.
